By Car

Parking  -  Water Meadows Leisure Centre is a pay and display car park and only two minutes walk from Making it!  There is a pay and display car park at Church Street (accessed from Littleworth) which is a 5 minutes walk.

By Train

Arriving in Mansfield by train – Embarking on the Mansfield-Nottingham side (or use underpass if embarking on Nottingham – Mansfield side) – go down ramp towards retail park and town centre which brings you to pedestrian crossing.  Cross over Station Street and go left to pedestrian crossing and cross over onto Albert Street.  Turn right, cross over Midworth Street and cross ring road at pedestrian crossing.  Go right and then turn left onto Nottingham Road – walk 50m and turn left again onto Bath Street and walk to the bottom (past Water Meadows Leisure Centre) where you will see the entrance to Making it! discovery centre.

By Bus

Arriving by bus from Mansfield Bus Station, walk down Stockwell Gate and turn right at Beales Store onto Queen Street.  Walk up Queen Street on the left hand side,  passing short stay car park, keep on,  passing under the railway arches, keep straight on crossing Midworth and cross ring road at pedestrian crossing.  Go right and then turn left onto Nottingham Road – walk 50m and turn left again onto Bath Street and walk to the bottom (past Water Meadows Leisure Centre) where you will see the entrance to Making it! discovery centre
